Product issues
Use Report Issue in Settings when you can reach the portal. It sends a one-time anonymous report with basic portal context.
Urgent stop
If a write action affects the wrong sandbox item, stop testing and email the sheet, group, action attempted, and approximate time.
What to include
- Your work email domain and company name.
- Your browser and operating system.
- The CrystalSlate page, section, or action you were using.
- Whether the issue happened before or after Smartsheet token entry.
- Any visible error message, screenshot, or Activity row details.
Token-mode safety
Your token stays yours
During this beta, approved testers enter their own Smartsheet Personal Access Token. Do not send the token by email or paste it into support messages.
Use sandbox data first
Start with read-only checks, then use test sheets, groups, and users for write workflows. Avoid production cleanup actions until a workflow is confirmed.
Known beta boundaries
- Hosted OAuth and subscription billing are not active in this preview.
- Event Log depends on Smartsheet Event Reporting availability for your plan.
- Some sections require Smartsheet System Admin or Group Admin permissions.
- Anonymous diagnostics are optional and can be enabled or disabled from Settings.
