CrystalSlate uses straightforward per-workflow-user pricing. Account-only managers do not consume a license.
Seven-day read-only trial
No card is required to begin. The trial includes supported read-only Assets workflows and Settings. It does not include Users, Groups, Activity, or write workflows.
Add a payment method before trial end to continue. If no payment method is present, the trial subscription ends and the workspace locks until a new paid subscription is started.
Monthly or annual
Monthly: $7.99 USD per licensed workflow user each month.
Annual: $79.99 USD per licensed workflow user each year, paid upfront.
Annual billing saves $15.89 per person compared with twelve monthly payments.
Taxes may be added where required. Larger-team discounts require a sales-assisted written quote.
How multiple licenses work
The purchaser chooses the total workflow-license quantity during checkout and initially receives license 1.
Stripe creates one organization subscription with that quantity.
An Account Manager opens Account → Workflow licenses and invites one distinct person into each open license.
Invitees create or use their own CrystalSlate accounts. Sharing an account is not permitted.
A five-person team therefore has one subscription with quantity five—not five separate subscriptions.
The Primary Owner may separately invite Account Managers or Billing Managers without assigning a workflow license. These account-only managers cannot enter Smartsheet workflows.
Adding, removing, and changing billing
Additional seats are purchased immediately and prorated by Stripe.
Removing a person frees their slot under the reassignment policy but does not lower the purchased quantity.
Seat decreases and monthly/annual interval changes are not self-service yet because they must be scheduled for renewal and checked against occupied seats.
Cancellation is scheduled for period end and can be undone before then.
What Stripe manages
A Billing Manager opens the secure Stripe Billing Portal for payment methods, invoices, billing address, and tax IDs. People without that role do not see Billing. CrystalSlate never handles card numbers. Subscription price and quantity switching remain disabled in Stripe so the CrystalSlate license rules cannot be bypassed.
